It’s a new year, only 44 days until pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training, and only 89 days until Opening Day. So to go along with the new year, the Education Department at the Hall of Fame is unveiling new features. Starting this month (and it’s January, if you haven’t noticed), the official Education Department’s e-newsletter "Off the Bat" will be unveiled. That’s an excellent question, yet to be determined. I will keep everyone informed if we do. Also, the name has changed from “Off the Bat” to “The Hall Monitor.”
